SHYANN WARREN.

Shyann Warren is a senior at North Carolina State University working

toward a Bachelor of Science  Degree in  Fashion and Textile Design. Throughout her time in the College of Textiles, she has specialized in print, woven, and knit design. During the school year, she interns at A. Hoke Limited Designer Showroom in Raleigh. A. Hoke is a leading resource open to the trade for interior designers. As an intern, she has had the opportunity to work at two High Point Furniture Markets assisting and giving showroom tours to clients in both Lee Industries and Century Furniture. Shyann has also spent two summers as a design intern at Valdese Weavers. As a design intern, she gained an inside look into all aspects of designing and manufacturing jacquard woven fabrics. She worked on color trend analysis, learned the dyeing process of yarns, and created three of her own woven fabrics along with completing color work on the patterns. Outside of interning, Shyann also maintains the position as President of the NC State WithIt Chapter. With her last year of college in the works, Shyann looks forward to designing her senior collection and seeking out a job in the home furnishing industry.
